Cancellation/No Show Policy
We understand that there are times you may miss an appointment due to emergencies. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from booking an appointment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for an appointment due to a seemingly “full” schedule.
If an appointment is not cancelled at least 12 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied; this fee will not be covered by your insurance company.
While we do our best to direct bill your insurance when possible. There are times that either your insurance will not allow direct billing, or will be pulled (by the insurer) for further review. If your insurance cannot be direct billed, you are still responsible for the scheduled exam. We will provide all necessary documentation and invoices to submit any fees to your insurance.
Since there is no guarantee for direct billing, payment for any scheduled appointments is mandatory. A cancellation fee of $30 will still apply if an appointment is cancelled.
We understands that delays can happen. We prioritize patients who are on time to prevent delays for the patients and doctors. We will do our best to see you as soon as possible if you are late. You will have the option to have a seat and wait for an appointment slot to open.
If a patient is 10 minutes past their scheduled 20 minute appointment. We will either reschedule the appointment, or the patient may remain as a walk-in patient if another spot remains available later in the schedule.
We require that patients with balances are paid fully prior to any further services being rendered. Patients who have questions about their bills or would discuss payment options may call and speak to an office representative who can review their account and concerns.
Emergency visits are prioritized. We will do our best to let you know if your appointment is delayed in these cases.
